Building Capacity, Without Compromise
The expansion involved the full development of a new phase in a large-scale gas refinery, including the integration of high-pressure piping networks, industrial chillers, chemical storage tanks, HVAC systems, and utility services. What made this project especially demanding was the need to execute all installations within a live and sensitive operational refinery—where precision, safety, and timing were non-negotiable.
We took full leadership of site operations, directing over 100 engineers, technicians, and skilled trades. By introducing a rotating 24/7 schedule and robust field coordination practices, we ensured that progress never stopped, and safety was never compromised.
Engineering Meets Execution
Our team re-engineered and adapted 3D piping models, resolving real-world conflicts between designs and existing infrastructure—an essential task when you’re threading new systems through an already congested refinery layout.
We implemented and managed a full quality control framework in line with global codes (ASME, ASTM). Our rigorous inspection regime, including full non-destructive testing (NDT) of critical welds, resulted in a near-flawless execution—with less than 1% rejection rate across hundreds of test points.
In addition, CGESS coordinated directly with international contractors and vendors, ensuring all mechanical systems—down to the last gasket and bolt—were aligned to global standards and on-site realities.
